Kotak Infrastructure Debt Fund Limited (KIDFL) is an Infrastructure Debt Fund under the NBFC format. KIDFL was incorporated as a company under the Companies Act, 2013 and operates under the regulation and supervision of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Kotak Forex Brokerage Ltd. was renamed Kotak Infrastructure Debt Fund Limited in June 2016. The company was granted IDF –NBFC license on 06th April 2017.
As per RBI guidelines, KIDFL invests only in post Commercial Operations Date (COD) infrastructure projects which have completed at least one year of satisfactory performance commercial operation.
KIDFL caters to varied set of needs of diverse sectors such as Roads, Renewable, Power/Energy, Distribution/Transmission, Hospital/Healthcare, Education, etc., as per RBI IDF –NBFC guidelines.
